We've all seen those Web pages with the text boxes and radio buttons, and we've wondered how it's done, amidst rumors of server crashes, cranky server operators, and expensive programming fees involving hopelessly esoteric languages and scripts. Well, wonder no more! SMGI has come to Vashti.
SMGI lets you create HTML pages that can collect information from visitors to your site. You get to control the appearance of the page, as well as the treatment of the information you gather from it.
In this example, the input is presented in a 'raw' format on a second page. If this were a real SMGI application, the second page could be another SMGI form, which might in turn send the data to a file in one of several formats, or e-mail it to a prescribed address.
What makes SMGI special is that you, the user, are in control. YOU decide what your page looks like, and YOU decide how you want the input handled. Collected data can be downloaded at YOUR leisure using FTP or your Web browser.
Best of all, there are NO programming fees. It's all run from your Web page and a control file that you can edit to select the available output options. Charges are on a per-use basis - other than a small setup fee, if it doesn't work for you, it doesn't cost you.
Contact Vashti today for details on how you can open up the inbound lane to your site on the Information Superhighway!
The following is a whimsical example of the sort of thing
you might do with SMGI; it is not in any way a
sign-up for SMGI, which is available only to Vashti customers.
